The owner Julian is an original legend. The knowledge of this experienced artisan will help you shape (or repair for that matter) your board, perfectly balanced with your ability and the conditions you will surf. Best part that he loves to share his worldly experience with his clients. He was so kind to let me his own sick board when mine was in repair. Go and see him! PS His GF is fantastic too

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When do I need a repair?

Whenever you get into an accident and have a Ding in your board, do not hesitate to bring it over.
When you see a yellow surface surrounding the area. Or when water or dried salt is coming out of the area, you need to come to see the Doctor!
Also If you can feel the crack with your nail it’s likely your surf craft can take up water and damage the inner core.

REMINDER!
Do not surf your board after it has taken up water!
Do not put wax in the hole and go for another session!
This makes the repair area harder to fix and will end up costing you more.

How much is a repair?

We have a price list in our Shop, so we are always consistent and fair in our pricing. Before we can give you an estimate quote, we need to see your damaged surf craft in our shop. Please be aware that there are different construction types for boards. Therefore different procedures and costs are involved, per type of construction. We stand for craftsmanship and quality when repairing your board.

How long does a repair take?

Always depending on our workload, but generally within 5-8 working days. Repair jobs involving numerous dings can take upwards of 10 days. We also have quick fix repairs out within 2-3 days. Also note that epoxy boards take longer to fix due to long cure time in between processes.

Do I have to make a booking to have my board fixed?

No, simply bring your board in to the shop any time during our opening hours and we will give you an accurate quote and from there your board will go straight in to the repair proces. You will receive a notification e-mail or text you as soon as your board is ready to be picked up again.
